PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

Performed air dispersion modeling studies for toxic chemical air emissions from industrial facilities such as refining operations, chemical manufacturing plants, and waste disposal sites.

Installed and managed meteorological stations in Nevada, New Mexico, and Baja California, Mexico.

Drafted and produced presentation-quality isopleth maps showing the impact of toxic chemical emissions based on the results of air dispersion modeling.

Developed a plan and cost estimate for an ambient air monitoring network outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Performed research on air emissions from industrial operations including tee-pee incinerators, cement kilns, and municipal waste landfills.

Evaluated an air emission permit application for a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Performed a site assessment of air emissions sources from a wooden shutter manufacturing plant in Lubbock, Texas.


Established air monitoring sites in Nevada and New Mexico.


COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:

Developed input files and ran EPA computer models such as ISCST3, INPUFF and Slab.

Processed meteorological data for use with air dispersion models with EPA software programs PCRAMMET and MPRM.

Intimate knowledge of a large number of computer programs including WordPerfect, Word, Excel, Lotus, Paradox, Surfer, Corel Draw, Corel Photo-Paint, and Netscape.
